file a complaint with the CPSB at FTC.GOV. click on "file a complaint" and go from there.

Or, find your state consumer protection website. Also, your first step should be with Disney.

The s.hit the dollar store sells is not even licensed through Disney.. It's cheap knock *** that's mass produced from china.

So instead of blaming Disney for a non licensed product, why don't you blame the dollar store where you got the s.hit from you cheap ***.. :roll

Disney Store in Justice, Illinois - No Black representation

I am sadden by the lack of Black American representation at the Disney Store. My daughters love all of the Disney Princesses but as Black Americans they have a right to want to play with someone who looks like them. I wan them to be able to grow up and know that we can be special too no matter what color skin, hair or eyes we have. When my daughters are playing pretend I want them to be able to see there skin to e as well. I have been going to the Disney store every Sunday for the past 2 months and still no Princess Tiana ANYTHING! They have her white friend And the prince but NO Tiana. When it comes to Doc McStuffins they only have a small end cap (at most) tey have tons and tons of every single other Princesses. I am outraged and it makes me ashamed the watch this store not celebrating its customers uniqueness I am hoping for some change in the future Shaunna Boatman

Seriously!?

From a child's point of view..do they see lots of white people and no black ones or do they see princesses with fabulous gowns?

Stop playing the racist card. The princess and the frog was a flop. The products didn't sell. Why would a company stock a toy that doesn't sell just because she's black?

Surely that's more patronising to African American people than anything?

Those stores-- especially outlets-- typically have the most recent releases or the top grossing items available. Right now you'll find an excess of Cinderella because she just re-released, Jasmine because she's releasing soon, Ariel because she's releasing soon and it's almost summer, Rapunzel because every single demographic keeps her selling out... However, right now Tianna's doll is in re-design and sells out as quick as Disney distributes their current supply of her doll evenly among stores. And, yes, her DISNEY-created, WalMart, Animator Series, and park lines of Tianna are still available year-round despite this fact.

Disney also released that Doc McStuffins and Sofia the First were not expected by focus groups to be as successful as they have been-- so their current inventory is low right now. If you don't believe me, wait til mid-summer when the new toy lines are in & you'll see they'll have plenty.

Plenty of people are upset about "the black princess's" absence in stores right now... From another perspective: She's the only American-based princess, other than Pocahontas (who is glorified even though she wasn't a traditional princess AND didn't even stay with her "prince.") To empower your kid, maybe call the princess by her name, "Tianna"-- a princess with dreams and ambitions-- instead of insisting she's a good princess for your child simply because of her skin color. Say that it's ok for now that your child can play with "her white friend" (Charlotte) because your daughter, is in fact the beautiful princess Tianna, who has a diverse group of people who she helps empower- as a good friend herself. Or maybe, til Tianna's movie comes back out of the vault and she's all over the store again-- suggest a different princess to play with or dress like because your child has such a wonderful imagination or because she looks like a beautiful princess no matter what she wears- and deserves to dress for the ball in her favorite color--- not just the one that "the other black princess" wears in her movie. Suggest to her the world is changing enough that she can find the virtue in each of the different characters that she also doesn't grow to define people by their skin tones.

I just checked and the WalMart web site has your princess doll.

Some of your spelling and grammar makes it sound like you aren't real educated. Buy your colored princess in another store.

I/m sure you can find it some place else.

Disney Store - Child choked on pull back car when head snapped off

My child was playing with the Minnie and daisy duck car mat and pull back cars, while playing she some how managed to snap the head off of daisy (daisy is a solid piece of rubber sat in the car). Luckily we were in the same room as her and managed to slap her back to get it out of her throat, but if we were out of the room for any reason I dread to think what could have happened. I understand toys with small parts to be wary of, but a pull back car with a solid fixed in figure to suddenly have a head snap off, its totally unthinkable and needs addressing. And to make matters worse a company of Disney's store's size (and an online store at that), in this day and age to not have an email address to contact them on for any reason, never mind to complain is un fathomable. Disney need to do some serious work to up there game. I would have thought they would have been one of the best company's in sorting problems and resolving complaints but maybe they don't care about the little guy ?

Was the toy recommended for her age group? Toy makers put ages on their toys for that reason. Some toys have small parts or pieces that could break off and become a hazard, so they are marked "3+"

Yes it was age appropriate

Its not about kids putting stuff in there mouth. Toys that are made for kids should be safe and nothing come off or snap of while being played with in a normal manner (which I'm sure she was).

And little kids putting stuff in there mouth is all part of growing and learning its all to do with there development.

Don't give parental advice when you know nothing about kids. Again kids toys should be safe to play with and stand some general play and wear and tear.

Disney Store in Broomfield, Colorado - Disney's Store Credit Card Policy

I had to go to the ATM that was clear accross the mall to get money out because my bank card had a different last name than my ID (I got married and it had my old last name -- same first) and the manager who was the attendant at the cash register would not take it. The card was signed and the purchase amount was only $28. They don't take debit (I offered to do a debit and enter my pin) or checks. This is the card I use every single day at the market, gas, on line... for everything that I do. It was over the top! I've never been through such an awful experience and so much hassle. My library card had my old last name but she wouldn't take it because the name wasn't typed! The ironic thing is that I used this same bank card at the same store Sat w/out a problem! WOW! $28 For God's sake! The Disney store now treats their average customers like criminals! OMG! This is not good service. I want smooth, easy non-eventful good experiences as a consumer! Don't treat me like a criminal. I called customer service and I was offered 20 percent coupon and later $15 to shop on line. IF I shop here again, it will only be on line. I will never go through this again!

If you shop online with that same credit card you are taking a chance with every purchase that it will be declined/cancelled. Many companies have a system in place that checks the billing info on the card and if anything (i.e. last name) does not match it will not go through.

Why don't you simply get a card with your correct name on it?

You miss the point Skutr. I was going to post the same thing as the previous comment.

Visa and Mastercard merchant rules PROHIBIT the showing of ID to be a condition of sale. So the manager is actually violating the rules set by Visa/MC.

I believe that Ashton Kutcher is about to jump out of my bathroom and tell me I am being punk'd. Is this serious?

Are you saying that anyone with your first name should be able to use your card because you just haven't received a new card? Kudos to the manager.

It's for your protection. You should be mad at the person who accepted it on Saturday.

Disney Store did a poor job selling limited edtion fashion dolls

The Disney store did a horrible job with the release of the limited edition princess designer collection. People pushed in front of the line and scalpers have bought all the inventory before collectors had a chance. The princess dolls were unevenly disturbed and the people first in line got to have up to 5 dolls. I think Disney is supporting scalping and not its fan base. People waited for hours to be served only to be disappointed. I would like to see some action happen that will satisfy all the costumers that went to buy the doll at the store and were not allowed. Perhaps putting more stock in the store and less online so people could have a chance at purchasing them.

She was short white and hispanic? Okay....

I am sure that this white hispanic woman had good reason to be nasty. There is something that you are leaving out, like the fact that you were being an @sshole perhaps?

So, what was the issue? You said you returned all the stuff, so why couldn't you just return what your kid didn't want and go get what they did?

I'm confused as to your complaint, sounds pretty simple what you should have done. The manager was probably just upset because you were being a retard...

Disney Store in Singapore, Singapore - They did not ship my purchases.

Disney Store 4223 in New York did not ship my purchase of a CD paid for in full on 21st June 2007. There is no place on their website to complain on this...How very convenient? I would like to contact the Director of Marketing. Can anyone help as I hate to say that I am loosing faith in 'Disney for kids' as I have had one disappointed kid at home..What annoys me is that we were to be the first to rcv this CD and the whole world has it and DISNEY is still sleeping over my order. Cool way to make money though!!!!!!

Do not shop at Disney Store

Do not shop at Disney store! They sell nothing but junk for outrageous prices! Everything that I have ever purchased at the Disney Store in Syracuse New York has broken soon after I purchased the item. I have had to return a Cars camera, a Buzz Lightyear cell phone, a Buzz Light year Tazer, and a Buzz Light year dart gun. I paid a ridiculous amount of money for all 4 items and the manager at the store gave me 21 dollars for all 4 items because I did not have the receipt. She claimed that, "she did not know how much I paid for the items." I can tell you I paid FULL price for all 4 items! I was so pissed off! They sell ***, do not shop there! It is not worth the time or money!
